In cases where customers complain about missing orders in magento:
and we have confirmed from the logs there are error messages corresponding to timeouts.
1. There could be an issue on the backend server which could be leading to these timeouts.
2. They can check with the hosting provider/admin to make sure there are no issues when these orders got created. Any issues with signifyd should be updated on status.signifyd.com
3. There is a task being worked on where we are going to have the plugin resend cases which were not send successfully the first time.
4. As a last resort, Here is the file where the timeouts are set and can be increased for certain low volume customers
curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 4);
curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT, 4);
Also, they should note that when they upgrade to a newer version of the plugin, these will be the switched again to the default values set on the newer version of our plugin.
